The world.
Every story world in Scribi is a storybase: characters, places, factions, and lore in one relational bible beside the manuscript, with a connection graph to follow the chains between them. Set it against a custom calendar, date the manuscript itself, and lay it out on interactive maps with real distances.

What the studio does.
Most tools cover one entry on this list. Scribi covers the list.
- Catalog
- Pen names, story worlds, series, and books in one relational catalog, with a status on every title.
- Brainstorming
- Reusable prompt series to get unstuck; sessions saved as project material.
- Beat sheets
- Structure that bends to your process instead of the other way around.
- Outlining
- Plan forward, or reverse-engineer an outline from a manuscript already drafted.
- Storybase
- A relational story bible beside the manuscript, remembering across a series.
- Timelines and maps
- Custom calendars, dated documents, interactive maps with real distances.
- Manuscript
- An editor built around chapters and scenes, with tracked changes.
- Translations
- A side-by-side translation editor; every language of a book in one project.
- Book Blocks
- Front and back matter saved per pen name or series. Edit once, re-export the catalog.
- Print and PDF
- Every KDP and IngramSpark trim size, a one-to-one layout manager, print-ready PDF.
The full list, module by module.

Editions and print.
Scribi exports the file your printer actually wants: print-ready PDF, no conversion on their end, in every trim size KDP, IngramSpark, and most offset printers accept. The layout manager is one-to-one with the printed page, and one project carries every edition, hardcover, softcover, and large print, beside the ebooks and the translations.

The assistant.
It shelves, it remembers the storybase across a series, and it edits with tracked changes you accept or reject. It never writes your book, and that is permanent. Bring your own key from OpenRouter or OpenAI, use Claude Desktop through Scribi's MCP plugin, or bring no key at all.
